One of Raleigh's "Hidden Gems", showcasing delicate French cuisine with fine dining service in an intimate dining room setting.

The wine list follows the broad-spectrum approach with a focus on French and North Carolina wines. So does the atmosphere, which has that special-occasion sparkle without being stuffy.

I was very impressed with both the food and the service. The best part of the experience was the owner.  He visited each table, talked about the food, made conversation, and generally made us feel welcome. Kudos for Raleigh having such a place.

The best restaurant in Raleigh
St. Jacques is by far our favorite restaurant in Raleigh. If we have guests from out of town St. Jacques is our first choice of restaurants to take them to. Outstanding Dining Experience

Our dinner at this charming and relaxing restaurant was delightful. The staff were helpful and attentive, helping to make our dinner a great success. The food, every dish from appetizers to dessert, was memorably delicious and beautifully presented. We have been to both New Orleans and Charleston in the last few months and Saint Jacques rivaled dinners at acclaimed restaurants. We will definitely return! This is a gem.

Real French Restaurant in North Carolina
The restaurant is hidden away in a shopping center, so you have to look for it.

Every item from the Coquille Saint Jacques appetizer, Horseradish Braised Beef Short Ribs entree, and the Pot De Crème Trio for dessert was excellent.

The wait staff provided top notch attentive service, and all special requests were meet without any hesitation. As an example I requested that the Pot De Creme dessert be modified to be only dark chocolate ones (chocaholic), within moments they appeared.

The sommelier was very knowledgeable and the wine list offered a good selection of french wines.

A great pleasurable experience, and when in Raleigh we will be back.
